What you need to know
How is LionRock Maritime’s pricing structured, and why do you call it “CAPEX-free”?
Our services are sold as flexible, data-as-a-service subscriptions—each Solution can be turned on for the ports or fleets you actually run. Because every insight is generated from AIS data that you already transmit, there is no need to install shipboard hardware and therefore no capital expenditure. Onboarding is quick, and contracts can be expanded or downsized without long-term lock-ins.
What are the payment terms, and what happens if I miss a due date?
Invoices are issued per subscription period or project milestone and are payable within 14 days by bank transfer to the account shown on the invoice. If payment is late, statutory commercial interest accrues automatically and reasonable collection costs—15 % of the outstanding principal with a €250 minimum—may be charged.
How long is a quotation valid, and can the price change later on?
Written proposals remain open for one (1) month. Should you expand or refine the agreed scope after signing, we will first discuss the impact on fees and supply a revised quotation; nothing is re-priced without your approval, and no extra costs are added if the revision is attributable to LionRock Maritime.
Can I scale up, pause, or end my subscription?
Yes. Our “easy and flexible contracting” means you can increase or reduce coverage (e.g., add ports or remove vessels) at any time, and either party may terminate the agreement with one (1) month’s written notice. Immediate termination is also possible if a party becomes insolvent or ceases business.
Which legal framework governs pricing and contracts?
All subscriptions are governed by Dutch law, and any dispute is submitted exclusively to the competent court of Amsterdam. This ensures transparent, well-established commercial rules for both parties.
